In the first episode, a boy climbs a tree and finds himself in a precarious situation.

Thanks to Maria Maggio for editorial help, my brothers Luke and Will for providing the sounds of a sibling skirmish, and to Melissa Mostowys for hanging out in a Spanish park with me while I recorded her being the sound of the boy climbing the tree.

Drafts - The Trailer

Welcome to "Drafts," a podcast of short fiction stories.

I'm Grant Burkhardt, the writer of the stories and the producer of this written- and I guess spoken-word show. There are basically no rules here - most of the stories are mine but I want to feature a few guest writers here at some point; I like fiction but also non-fiction is cool, too; most of the stories will be one-offs, but I can imagine stories will take more than one episode to tell.

The first episode of Drafts will be available soon, so subscribe to the feed on iTunes, Stitcher, Overcast, or wherever you get your podcasts, or you can also check back here, at DraftsPodcast.com, for more information.

Get in touch with the show by emailing DraftsPodcast@gmail.com or visiting DraftsPodcast.com.

Thanks for listening!
